Women will Fight, Create, and Live in Liberty ♀️✨


 Every year on March, the world commemorates International Women's Day. It's a day when everyone expresses their love, admiration, and respect for women. A lady is regarded to be God's most beautiful creation! It is a fact that all exceptional personalities were conceived in a woman's womb and received their early education from a woman. And it is for this reason that people treat women with respect in our daily lives.

It's a day when women are recognized and praised for their contributions to a variety of fields. Women possess a strong spirit that allows them to thrive in their chosen vocations. They make a significant contribution to the lives of their family members as well as the country.

In more ways than one, the COVID-19 pandemic stands in the way of Women's Economic Empowerment. Governments and humanitarian organisations have come together in creating strategies for responding to the challenges arising from the pandemic. One of the platforms we thought would help women and families weather this storm was women's groups, or women's empowerment collectives.

Throughout history, women have come together in different types of groups to offer each other support and address barriers together. The power of these groups has been rooted in the solidarity that comes from face-to-face connection and joint problem solving. But what happens when coming together is made impossible by a pandemic?

One of the platforms we thought would help women and families weather this storm was women's groups, or women's empowerment collectives. With our partners, we tried to understand the gendered economic impacts of the pandemic and identify gender responsive programs and policies that would put women at the heart of the recovery effort.

Women and girls are treated unequally in society due to gender inequality. Barriers surround them from the minute they are born all around the world. These might be shaped by their personal families or local cultural norms. Girls and women are frequently indoctrinated to adopt roles and actions that exacerbate the obstacles they encounter.

Women's empowerment is the most significant aspect in a country's overall development. Everyone celebrates the women in their lives on International Women's Day. Everyone recognizes the value and importance of women in their life, as well as their enormous contribution to society.
